About the work
For The Vending Machine Project I have made a 20 page booklet reproducing drawings
of chewing gum on the streets of Dublin. My work deals with traces of everyday
human activities. These traces are documented and ordered in a similar way to
that in which a biologist or archaeologist may arrange specimens or artifacts.
The Chewing Gum Drawings suggest single celled life forms or primitive sea creatures.
