About the work
My idea for the vending machine project is to
produce 20 original paintings. The paintings will be of singular foods and
sweets. A slice of carrot, a pea, a bean in sauce or wine gum etc.
the basic idea is what foods can be held in a vending machine and what we are
used to buying
from a vending machine.
These paintings will be produced in a traditional realistic
manner. The colours will be heightened to reflect the element of advertising
which is a major part
of buying and selling. Art for the everyday consumer!
